While in Indy this past Mar. I was introduced to your shop–what a wonderful addition to my trip. My son lives in Indy and believe me I’ll be back. The surprise, wonderful surprise was to find the coffeecake I knew (when I lived in IN) called an Alligator, was in your bakery case and I bought it and brought it back home to FL. Had I known it was going to be so good would’ve bought them all. Congratulations of being an “institution” and keep up making delicious offerings–I WILL BE BACK.

In the mid-fifties my mom worked just north of your store at 38th & Illinois, at Arlene Inc. Every Friday night was cake-night. My mom would bring me a square chocolate cake with white icing, and bring my sister pecan rolls. By Sunday night I would be finishing the last piece of cake. So good.

For nearly 44 years Taylor’s Bakery has been providing in-kind sheet cakes so we can celebrate monthly birthdays! The current owners’ grandfather started the tradition back in November, 1969, and this month’s cake will be the 515th one so generously shared with downtown Kiwanians! According to today’s pricing, the value of your in-kind donations is nearly $67,000…and since you so kindly remove all the fattening ingredients from our cakes, we won’t bother to count the number of calories consumed over nearly 44 years! Thanks for the generations of support we have received from your company!

Stopped in for the free donut holes this morning. BEST I have EVER had! I’m not usually a cake donut fan, but these melt in your mouth. Looking forward to coming in again in the future. Thank you and Happy 100th Anniversary!

I have been using your bakery for everything from birthdays to Father and Mother days to halloween and Thanksgiving and Christmas and New Years —not to mention my weekly visits and when I crave your teeny tiny B-day cakes..I love vanilla and you have the best vanilla cakes with vanilla icing ever and I have lived in many big cities including New York (they have no idea what a white cake, they make a white cake yellow)..I LOVE EVERYTHING I have every bought since the 70′s and I still go to 62nd and Allisonville as I have always…I did use to live in Fishers but now live neare to my favorite store..Over all these years I have been pleased and also by your staff…Some know me by now–…Thankyou …Never leave Broadripple area—would be horrific …Thank you ….My b-day is Nov. 15 so I usually get the cake like a dozen roses in a long box from my daughter…Beautiful….

My daughter will celebrate her 2 anniversary this year. Her wedding cake was not at all what she envisioned for her special day. Her husbands cousin made the cake which was a total disaster. I would like to know if you could make just the top tier cake and make it look like it should have. Her husband is a marine and he is to be deployed in September so I wanted to make this a memorable anniversary.

I ordered a giant cupcake for my daughter’s birthday a couple of weeks ago. It was outstanding. The cake was moist and decorated beautifully. I am so glad we have Taylors Bakery here in Fishers. They are the best.

I was out of town when a friend’s mother passed away and I wanted to do something special for her and her family. I called Taylor’s and talked to Tina. She helped me make selections that would be appropriate. I asked that the items be delivered at 7:30 the next morning. At 7:30 my friend’s doorbell rang with boxes of goodies from the bakery. Thank you, Taylor’s for the great service and the yummy treats for her family.

After reading all the reviews Im ready to call! I am getting married Feb 26th, 2011! I am in search of the perfect wedding cake! I have a few ideas in mind, but I am lost in the idea of the flavor of the cakes. I will be calling tomorrow to set up a consultation. It is 1 hour away from my home and the church where we are getting married, but if the customer service is as good as these people say, then I will drive. Service is everything to me! I am looking forward to it! I will post another comment after the consultation!

Taylor’s has been a family favorite for birthday cakes for as long as I can remember. I was throwing a jungle animal themed baby shower and Taylor’s made some custom cookies decorated with elephants and lions. They turned out perfectly! The cookies were delicious as always and they were decorated just right. So adorable for a baby shower favor. It really added that extra something for the guests.

Taylor’s made our wedding cake in November of 2008. My husbands family have frequented the bakery for the last 20 years.
It was absolutely delicious and our guests loved it. The handmade cala lilies were gorgeous!!!
We were given an entire cake to try before we ordered the wedding cake. We took it to our engagement party for everyone to try; they all enjoyed helping us choose our flavors.
My husband and I will use Taylor’s whenever we need a special occassion cake!

Taylor’s is wonderful! I turn into a little kid everytime I walk into the bakery on 116th. I have ordered several birthday cakes from Taylors and I have yet to be disapointed. I am constantly referring friends and loved ones to “Taylors”. My favorite “Taylor’s treat” are those amazing Petit Fours….Mmmmmm!

My wedding is next April. I called on Tuesday to set up a tasting and the young lady that answered couldn’t have been more helpful. They were able to get me in within two hours and to my suprise I did not have to sit down and pour out my ideas. She let me look at a book of previous work at my own leisure and answered all my questions when I was ready. Better yet instead of a slice of cake or a cupcake, they let me take a whole cake home. This was great because I was able to let my fiance taste it when he got home later that night. I am head over heels with the professionalism, customer care and great taste. I WILL be purchasing my wedding cake from here next spring.
